After 40 years in the computing business working with software engineering, computer architecture and high performance computing I will finally focusing on cancer research full time. I plan to analyzing sequencing data in combination with cancer biology to understand more of the Hallmarks of cancer as described in the classical Weinberg and Hanahan paper. A grand challenge to say the least.

I see the fast developing data-driven technology as a promissing way to elaborate cell biology and the effect of millions of genetic variations. Using AI, I hope to find ways to show what's going on during diseases, especially during treatments. Now I'm really looking forward to read papers, join conferences and assist in projects.
